I have lived in Houston for most of my life. After earning my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Child Development from Houston Baptist University, I moved to Austin, TX to work on my Master’s in Professional Counseling. While there, I worked at a psychiatric residential treatment facility for adolescent girls. Upon completion, I returned to my home city and began working at Communities In Schools of Houston.
There I worked in HISD, Alief ISD, HCC and Lone Star College providing counseling and social services to at-risk populations in middle, high school and college. I have worked in private practice simultaneously providing counseling to teens, adults, couples and families. When I’m not working, I’m running around with my husband after our 4 kids and enjoying the outdoors as much as possible!
